i'm trying to decide if i want to buy turbotax or do them by hand.

this year's filings include:
complete schedule c with dozens of operating expenses (hundred of receipts)
complete itemization of deductions

and i won't be getting a refund. i think i'll be paying.

It's been my experience that hiring an accountant is generally worth it.
