When I was about 15 I remember going to some leather handicraft show and became fascinated with making a leather bookcover. I went to a leather store to pick out materials after reading on making leather bookcovers and I wanted to get started. Leather turned out to be too expensive for me, so I didn't get it or any of the tools. In those books it also had information about bookbinding and the process for that. I would like to get into binding sometime.

There was an article in make magazine about it recently, and here is an online version similar.
