Am I the only one that has no problems with bashing Scientology and Scientologists personally? These beliefs are ridiculous and the people seem to be walking around in a constant daze.

No shit. It's a religion. What did you expect? Reasonable, well thought out beliefs supported by experimental evidence and logic?

I still don't see how it is *more* ridiculous than christianity, islam, or any other religion I've ever heard of. Cup of tea from Russell's teapot anyone?

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I respect those religions much more than Scientology which is nothing more than a scam from a hack SF writer. I don't even feel comfortable comparing Scientology to Islam. While both ridiculous, Scientology borders on a social experiment along the lines of "I wonder how silly I can make this shit and still have people believe it..."

I don't think anyone has ever killed in the name of Scientology. Yeah you're right. It's a different category.

It wouldn't surprise me if someone had. And I'm pretty sure there's someone out there who can make the case that they have, albeit probably more along the lines of Christian Scientists instead of Islam.

Some would argue that Scientology has killed. There are some specific instances... such as...
