I am having trouble connecting to my FTP account. I've never had this problem until now, this is what it does:

Status: Resolving address of ftp.rdruw.net
Status: Connecting to 75.119.200.206:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 220 DreamHost FTP Server
Command: USER (my username)
Response: 331 Password required for (my username).
Command: PASS *********
Response: 530 Sorry, the maximum number of hosts (7) for this user are already connected.
Error: Could not connect to server

does this mean that there is someone else besides me is connected?

if so, how could this be? and how can i get them off?

I went in and changed my password for my ftp account, but that didn't seem to work.

whats going on?

do you use an ftp client that opens multiple connections for transfers (e.g., cuteftp)?

nvm i got it figured out.

When i went to upload multiple files the processes were locked on my server, all 7 of them.

I read that i need to go into the FTP client's settings and change the simultaneous/concurrent connections limit, or disable the option altogether to prevent it from happening again.

But it IS disabled and i am still not sure why they hung up.
