this thread is the introduction to ttf development.

1. the ttf code base is available through a modified bsd licensed. we use the standard openbsd license:

2. the ttf code base is hosted on google code's project hosting service. you may download the repo via svn:

3. all ttf members are encouraged to help contribute to the project. of course, there are no expectations. just help if you want to.

I'm learning more PHP lately, so if I have the time and motivation I will definitely try to help out.

i really need to learn more about svn

because we have tons of improvements sitting in ttf-current (svn/trunk) that need to be merged into ttf-live (a branch which goes up on the web, thus the name "live").

and i want to merge all the revisions except for one, so i gotta learn how.
