man, i hate it when i'm using the bad wifi at home and i upload a new file version to ttf. it usually sets the file on the server to 0kb but never gets the new data uploaded. :/

just made some changes to the date formatting. dates within the last 24 hours will say things like "13 hours ago" or "12 minutes ago."

Nice, I like it, it gives me some sort of reference to when the last post was made. I usually don't look at my clock so the time stamp doesn't mean too much to me.

r114 adds "days ago," "weeks ago," and "months ago."

do we want this? i felt there was a loss of precision with these labels going so far.

but i also thought of a fix: go ahead with them even up to "years ago" but give the text a title like this:
<span title="8:19 pm, 18 apr 07">x units ago</span>

that way, we get both! thoughts?

I like having an actual time stamp, maybe down where the archive link is, have the x hours/x days etc.

well what's wrong with just having it as a title?

I guess I'm not sure how that will work

when you move your cursor over the relative time, an alt-style text box pops up with the timestamp.
