do you think you can safely use the same helmet for technical rock climbing, bicycling, and skiing?

I think the design in the helmet as well as the material is going to prevent you from using ONE multipurpose helmet.

i think the biggest problem is that skiing helmets are designed for warmth. so how about a summer helmet and a winter helmet?

winter: skiing, (ice/rock) climbing, bicycling
summer: climbing, bicycling

you might be able to find a skiing helmet with removable insulation

issues - i think climbing needs a stronger helmet than skiing... from the little climbing i've done i recall the helmets were hardcore.

- not sure how much you care but you're going to be hard pressed to find a helmet that looks appropriate to all these sports..

the law is no protection
skiing or climbing helmet would be way overkill and look foolish for a bike.
