haha i had an experience kinda like that. it was when pandy was workin at kfc and used to get shit loads of free chicken. he would always bring it to our poker games or something like that and i would eat shit loads of it. well one of those nights, the chicken didn't sit well and i woke up that night puking for a good 2 hours. my mom thought for sure i had been drinking and bitched me out the next day. good times.

amazingly.. i e-mailed the rental company that i rented the equipment from, and they are already investigating the issue.. they have the best customer service i have ever experienced. They seem confident that they will find the package and it will be good. I would have thought they would be closed at this hour (in fact i checked their site) but they responded within an hour of my e-mail after business hours.

it should totally be either the carrier's fault (for leaving it--it should be insured) or the company's fault for not requiring a signature.
uuuuuuuum thats not your fault at all. Fedex drivers are trained to NEVER leave packages on a door step. They are NEVER supposed to leave a package on a door step thats in an area for others to easily access, easily spotted by others, or steal the package. They are only allowed to leave a package if it is say, in a doorway, out of site of others. I would file a complaint with fedex, you should get reimbursed for the package if it was left in a place that it could be easily stolen.
Fedex and UPS are constantly leaving things on my doorstep, which is in no way out of sight from others.

I think it is pretty fun but I feel the same 'dulled' sensation that you do asemi. I used to smoke a lot more (4+ times a month) but for the last two years I've only done it three or four times total.
I've never gotten any sort of dulled sensation while high. Weird. If anything, sensations are taken to extremes. Soft puppies are REALLY soft. Food tastes kind of bland when sober tastes REALLY bland when high.

I walked calmly to the bathroom to remove the thing from my leg after I saw through the hole in my jeans that it was bleeding badly. After attempting to pull the chunk out of my leg, I realized that it wasn't actually a splinter, it was a 3.5" piece of wood, and it reached halfway across my thigh...from the inside. when I pushed down on the end of it I could just make out the other end pushing up on my skin from the other side of my thigh.
Needless to say, I got a little light-headed. I tried easing it out but it wouldn't budge, so, knowing I had to show in class and couldn't leave for the hospital, I yanked it out in one violent motion. Lots of blood, then.
I was a little dizzy for the first half hour afterwards, but I showed anyway and stayed for the entire 2 hour class period. I'm fairly sure the stick of wood pierced muscle because my thigh was quivering and swelling the entire time. :(

Last year, I slipped and slid under a car parked near my house. This year, I was hoping to avoid it for the first winter ever, but then (last night) I misjudged the slipperiness of a driveway and ate shit. Well, maybe not "ate shit" but toppled over and got a surprisingly large amount of snow up my dress. :(

yesterday i come home from class at 2:30 and pass out, wake up at 5. make dinner, watch some south park, fall asleep again at 6. wake up at 11 and stay up until 2. wake up at 9, stay awake for an hour, sleep again basically until 2.
18.5 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period.

there may be poll bias but actually compared to the poll that national geographic did the numbers are much better.

i've tested it with the x60s and the t61. it doesn't work very well.

Today was the 50th anniversary of Mazeroski's game winning home run in the 1960's world series. The old forbes field wall is on campus at pitt and they held a giant, all day celebration that included Mazeroski and about 10 others from that world series winning team. The disappointing part is I didn't realize all the players would be there and by the time I got done with my school shit, I didn't have time to run home and get a jersey to sign.
The really disappointing thing? My great aunt went to that game and gave the ticket from the game to my mom (which she of course she framed). If I would have known this was going on sooner, I would have had her send it out to me for the team to sign!

Then he breezes by my desk, drops off an eight page OTS policy handbook thing with a ton of long numbers, acronyms, and similarly hard-to-type-quickly-and-accurately other things and says "Retype this for me? We need a soft copy. Thanks!!" while vacating the area.

should be more of terrible things happened today but here's what happened. We had just gotten done doing the beaten trail from the clarks fork to east rosebud when my girlfriends dog does a 180 and bolts back up the trail we had just come down. We ran after the dog for 2+ miles calling him but he didn't care and just kept running. We finally had to turn back because we had no packs and only one container of water. We put up a sign at the east rosebud trail head and we got a call from hikers saying they found him just south of rim rock lake (thats about 6 miles from the trail head we lost him at) and he was shaking and scared but wouldn't come to them.
I've been up for the past few hours making flyers for us to put up at the east rosebud trail head and the clarks fork trail head, then we are gonna go up the trail from east rosebud. I've never seen anyone so heartbroken after today. I hope to god we can find the dog tomorrow because I fear that the dog is bear meat if it tries to go back to the clarks fork, which is some 26 miles. I mean the dogs running through bear territory with dog food strapped to his back!
