i was having problems installing fonts on windows xp. i have nvidia quadro nvs 140m graphics. i always got this message when trying to install a font: "The requested file _____.otf was not a valid font file."

open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Session Manager/Memory Management
add DWORD value with name SessionImageSize and data 0x14
reboot

i have FrutigerLTStd variants installed. i installed adobe font folio 11.
Frutiger is nice.

my employer provided me with a dell latitude e6400 which has nvidia quadro nvs 160m graphics. same problem.
