Criticizing an amateur painter who does it for fun is so retarded I want to punch people in the face.

I mean, he didn't even publish any of the paintings himself, some fucking asshole thought it was necessary or funny or whatever to reveal all sort of private and personal stuff (such as these paintings).

the law is no protection
this is funny in a very weird way as in he's THE PRESIDENT WHO GOT US INTO THE IRAQ WAR AGHHH and then imagining him painting some shitty cat makes the whole thing very incongruous, and somehow very humorous to me. the game of gaining some insight into his psyche by looking at these paintings is boring media masturbation. laughing at them for being shitty paintings is, yawn.

paintings by wartime leaders is not uncommon:

http://www.museumsyndicate.com/artist.php?artist=667 - Winston Churchill

and

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paintings_by_Adolf_Hitler Adolf Hitler

come to mind though there might be more. surprisingly, both seemed to be pretty decent artists.
